Lee has been writing since she was a young teenager and she shares that love of poetry with family and friends. She had multiple works professionally chosen and published in the literary magazine "In the Write Mind" two consecutive years in 1994 and 1995 when she studied at Central Florida Community College. Lee also has three of her poems published in the book "Silent No More." The book is a compilation of works by survivors from around the world. Silent No More was published in 2011 in the UK with proceeds going to charity. Lee released her first book of poetry titled "Pieces of Me" on February 29, 2016, and is working away on her next project. Advocates United for Humanity welcomes their new #communitykidswatch ​ program that promotes see something, say something! AU4H ‘Community Kids Watch’ program is a simple act of kindness that anyone can take part in. The ‘Community Kids Watch’ program helps children in the community feel safe and protected knowing their families, friends, and community are attentively watching over them. Each person in their neighborhood, apartment complex, street, or community vows to take a stand to help stop child abuse by “watching, listening and reporting” any suspected abuse towards a child. Many people fear reporting suspected child abuse thinking if they are wrong they will be charged for filing a false report. There is no wrong in doing what you believe is right to protect a child. Making a report in good faith will not get you in any trouble. By reporting the suspected abuse you may save a child's life.
