AU4H ‘Community Kids Watch’ program is a simple act of kindness that anyone can take part in. The ‘Community Kids Watch’ program helps children in the community feel safe and protected knowing their families, friends, and community are attentively watching over them. Each person in their neighborhood, apartment complex, street, or community vows to take a stand to help stop child abuse by “watching, listening and reporting” any suspected abuse towards a child. Many people fear reporting suspected child abuse thinking if they are wrong they will be charged for filing a false report. There is no wrong in doing what you believe is right to protect a child. Making a report in good faith will not get you in any trouble. By reporting the suspected abuse you may save a child's life.
